Volvo C30

Volvo C30 Parkers 2015-07-07

When it was introduced back in 2007 the Volvo C30 slotted neatly below the firm’s S40 and V50 family-car models as a premium hatchback with Coupe intentions. This three-door only model, with is glass tailgate, harked back to the Volvo 480 and super-stylish Volvo P1800ES model from 1972.

A four-seater only, with two distinct chairs in the rear, the C30 used a range of four-cylinder and five-cylinder petrol and diesel engines and was front-wheel drive only.

Those chasing economy could look towards the DRIVe model with 109bhp, and latterly 115bhp, which promised 74mpg and sub 100g/km CO2 output from its 1.6-litre diesel engine.
