The Volkswagen Up (or “up!” as Volkswagen has actually named it) is one of three city cars designed and built in the same factory.

Alongside the VW Up are the Skoda Citigo and Seat Mii, which have different badges and bumper designs, but are in essence the same car. Other rivals include the Ford Ka, Hyundai i10 and the much more funky-styled Fiat 500

It has spawned a number of concept spin-offs and special edition models, not least the seemingly Yorkshire-themed e-up electric car. This has an 81bhp motor with 99 miles of range and can be spotted by its LED headlights at the front.
