The Vauxhall Corsa has been sold across Europe since 1983, although for the first ten years of its life it was known as the Nova in the UK.
We adopted the Corsa name (which means “run” or “race” in Italian) in 1993, and since then there have been four different cars to wear the badge, known as Corsa B, C, D and the current E.
Available as a three and five door, and even briefly as a cabriolet, the Corsa is one of the best selling cars in the UK and takes on such rivals as the Ford Fiesta and Renault Clio.
It has always boasted a comprehensive catalogue of trim levels and engines to suit most budgets. The current model is offered in ten different versions starting off with the Corsa Life and topping out with the SE. There are seven engines including a 1.0-litre eco unit, a performance focused 1.4-litre turbo petrol, and two diesels.
