The Vauxhall Adam is a small hatchback which looks a little bit like an Audi A1, but without the price tag.

Its main selling point is personalisation – you’re apparently able to (challenged to?) decide between a million individual trim combinations.

As a four-seater car with three doors, it features a ‘floating roof’, which makes the car look lower and hence sportier.

There are three trim levels on offer: Jam, Slam and Glam. Those aren’t even joke names.

You’ve also got the option of a chunkier version called the Vauxhall Adam Rocks, which sits slightly higher than the standard Adam and can be ordered with a folding sunroof; in which case it’s known as the Vauxhall Adam Rocks Air.

A trio of petrol engines provides the performance here – a 1.2-litre 69bhp version and two 1.4-litres pushing out either 86bhp or 98bhp.
