A new generation of the Jaguar XF saloon was launched in 2015 and was a major improvement over the old model. The new diesel engines are particularly impressive for combining performance and economny, it's very agile and there's more space for passengers particularly in the back. It impressed us so much we gave it five stars.

Developed at Jaguar's HQ in Coventry and built at Castle Bromwich Assembly facility in Birmingham, the XF is available as a saloon, estate (named Sportbrake) and two high performance versions called the R and RS.
