Sitting further up its range of hatchbacks, the Hyundai i30 is the Korean firm’s alternative to the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and Volkswagen Golf.
The Hyundai i30 first landed on UK shores back in 2007 in hatchback form where it proved to be a car that offered great value, strong reliability and a five-year warranty that provided buyers with peace of mind.
The styling of the car wasn’t bad either and it provide a comfortable way to travel for a young family. The boot was a good size and equalled most of its rivals though it did come with a high boot lip so heavy objects required care to lower into the boot.
In 2012 Hyundai took this well rounded package and improved it further particular in terms of build quality. This new version had a striking new look with modern LED daytime running lights, it’s offered with a range of engines including very efficient petrol and diesels plus there is even more room for driver and passengers.
