Honda’s CR-V has proven to be a big hit around the world and especially here in the UK. In fact, one in three cars sold in Europe in 2014 headed to our shores.

Up against big hitters in the segment including Mazda’s CX-5, the Nissan X-Trail and the Volkswagen Tiguan, the CR-V’s blend of low running costs, spacious interior and reliability credentials make it a worthwhile choice and help it to stand out from the crowd.

The five-seat SUV has been in production since 1995 and was launched here in the UK in 1997. Now in its fourth generation, a facelift in 2015 saw the introduction of a more powerful diesel engine as well as an optional nine-speed automatic transmission and a new adaptive cruise control system.
