At motorway speeds, the engine is working pretty hard and it's noisy in the cabin but standard climate control makes summer journeys more bearable and gets rid of condensation in winter. It's also fitted with bucket seats, which are larger than those fitted in the standard Swift. That means it can be difficult for passengers to get into the back as they take up more room. The boot's an average size but easy to get to, however unlike the standard Swift the rear seat is a bench and does not split 60/40, limiting practicality, There are a number of cubbies in the cabin and a decent-sized glovebox. It's easy to get comfortable - the sporty-looking steering wheel is height-adjustable and has integrated audio controls, so you can change the volume and radio stations on the move.Plus all the buttons on the dash are chunky, simple to use and easy to read. The bucket sports seats do a good job of holding the driver in place and are surprisingly comfortable, although they may be a little tight for some. The clock, outside temperature gauge and fuel consumption calculator are displayed in red in a central housing on the dashboard while the raised driving position gives good all-round visibility.
