The Suzuki Swift has slowly and steadily earned itself a reputation as a value-for-money low-cost car that's good fun to drive. Fortunately for Suzuki, this version introduced in 2010 continues with those traits while adding a little bit of extra quality.

Buying used

Although the Swift may not be popular as some of its competition, finding a good-value used model shouldn’t be too hard. All models come well equipped but top-of-the-range SZ4 models add a few useful extras. Try to avoid diesel models, and with only subtle changes, this latest model will only be available on a ‘60’ plate onwards.

This shouldn’t prove too difficult a task. Fortunately the Swift is a popular car among a whole range of drivers from old people to first-time buyers so selling one should be a fairly easy task. Getting rid of an automatic could prove more difficult while a diesel will also be tougher to shift than the petrol models.
