The third-generation Seat Ibiza was another step up from the first and second-generation models to carry the name. Volkswagen's input shines through in the solidly built bodies, quality interior finish, durable engines, assured handling and rather firm ride.

The third-generation Seat Ibiza was another step up from the first and second-generation models to carry the name. Volkswagen's input shines through in the solidly built bodies, quality interior finish, durable engines, assured handling and rather firm ride. It's a competitively priced used car that offers a less expensive but satisfying alternative to the Volkswagen Polo.

What owners say...

It is a good, utilitarian, everyday car. OK with 4 adults but would like a larger boot - rear seats split and fold to help with larger loads. Now averaging 45mpg after work on the head.
