Old-generation S Class is technologically sophisticated, but just too big. Virtually unrivalled for prestige, comfort, power and reliability, these behemoths lack the discreet elegance of the BMW 7-Series or Audi A8.

Comfort

It's palatial in the back. Rear passengers have enough legroom to stretch right out - the best in it's class. Sumptuous accommodation. Leather, wood and other high-grade materials are exquisite and seats are almost infinitely adjustable.

Practicality

Huge boot will take suitcases, large boxes and most objects that you need to carry. Massive interior space, but rear only comfortably seats two, because of the shape of the vary comfortable and adjustable seats.

Behind the wheel

Ideally you wouldn't be here (sipping champagne in the back makes for a better time), but we can't all afford our own drivers. Thankfully, Mercedes-Benz has made it comfortable, with a highly-adjustable driving position.
