Standard safety kit includes dual front airbags, side and curtain bags, ABS, dynamic stability control and seatbelt pre-tensioners plus all cars have an alarm and remote central locking. 4 out of 5 Reliability Build quality is superb, as you'd expect of a BMW, and the X3 is so far proving to be reliable, although a few minor problems have been reported by owners - particularly on early cars.
