Used BMW 7-Series (1994 - 2002) Comfort

Review by Parkers on
Not taken with the looks of the current 7-Series? Then try this. It's all the car anyone could possibly need, although it does not exude the same kind of imposing opulence as an S-Class.

Long-wheelbase models give an incredible amount of legroom, but it's pretty impressive in the shorter model, too. The interior is sumptuous, but like most large luxury cars, the rear is only designed for two (although it can accommodate three for short trips. The cabin is well insulated against noise.

The boot is massive - even for a large saloon. No clever storage areas, but this is hardly and MPV.

Behind the wheel

A pleasant car to drive - so give the chauffer the day off. The driver's seat is height adjustable and it's easy to get a good driving position. Some of the minor buttons and switches are confusingly placed.
