Used Suzuki Kizashi (2012 - 2013) Safety & Reliability

On looks alone Suzuki's new Kizashi saloon shows promise. This slick four-door is the Japanese manufacturer's first UK foray into the so-called D-segment currently dominated by the Ford Mondeos and Vauxhall Insignias of this world.

Seven airbags, including a driver's knee airbag and ESP are all fitted as standard. You also have the benefit of being able to switch from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive if conditions should warrant this. This could prove useful in the winter months and gives the driver an added sense of security. Euro NCAP has not tested the Kizashi yet, but it achieved five stars in American testing so we expect it to receive a similar score in the UK.

Reliability

The Kizashi is new to the UK so the jury is still out. However, Suzuki has a reputation for mechanical durability.
