Buying used

Skoda Rapid will have a larger retail split but deals could be obtained if you go for a former company car. These cars will have a higher mileage but they will be looked after by the organisation that was running it so expect it to have a full service history and all the paperwork should be up to date. The Skoda Rapid should make for a great used buy.

The build quality inside and outside is first class and the engines are proven throughout the VW group. The diesel versions command a premium but are worth it if you intend to use the Rapid mainly on motorway journeys. Three trim levels are offered S, SE and Elegance. SE is likely to be the most popular.

The Skoda Rapid does not have an illustrious past. The original version of the Rapid came out in 1988 and missed the mark. The good news is that this car bears no resemblance to the old model. The new Rapid is as good as the popular Yeti. The Skoda Rapid will appeals to families and business drivers. It has a classy interiors selling your Rapid should not be much of a problem.

The design combines saloon looks with the practicality of a hatchback. Sellers should stress the car’s key strengths like the VW group build quality and reliability, good equipment levels and fuel-efficient engines and that class-leading boot space.
