Brits don't really like small saloons, so the booted Fabia isn't a common sight on our roads. Good new for the used buyer, as values are generally lower than the value-packed hatchback.

Standard Classic models feature air conditioning, front airbags, three rear three-point seat belts, ABS, power steering, height and reach adjustable steering wheel, height adjustable driver’s seat, immobiliser, body-coloured bumpers, a radio/ single CD player with four speakers (although the 1.2 HTP 54bhp has a cassette radio), electric front windows and remote central locking.

Ambiente trim adds a trip computer, electrically adjustable and heated body-coloured door mirrors, sound system with eight speakers, deadlocks, adjustable dashboard illumination, front fog lights, front reading light, seat-mounted storage pockets. Range-topping Elegance specification also includes EDL and ASR electronic chassis systems, cruise control, heated front seats, rear acoustic parking sensors, alloy wheels, an alarm and a leather steering wheel, gearknob and gaiter.
