Used SEAT Arosa (1997 - 2004) Comfort

For those looking for a value-for-money town car, there can be few models better than the Arosa. It shares its looks - and most parts - with the more expensive VW Lupo.

Rear legroom is very cramped - even tall kids will be squashed against the back of the seats. There's plenty of headroom, though, so your long-bodied, short-legged friends will be fine.

Luggage space is shameful. Only just enough room for a week's shopping with the back seat up. For those with no kids you can fold the rear seat (on all models) and get much more room.

Behind the wheel

Supportive seats, but not exactly plush. Cabin doesn't feel as VW-like as you'd hoped for, but it is still good for the class (and the price). Equipment levels are reasonable and everything works smoothly.
