Volkswagen Golf Estate 1.6 TDI (105bhp) BlueMotion Tech Sportline (Start Stop) 5d (2011/11)

Volkswagen Golf Estate 1.6 TDI (105bhp) BlueMotion Tech Sportline (Start Stop) 5d (2011/11) - Owner Review

Lots of really useful things you don't necessarily think of when buying, such as auto dimming rear view mirror, as well as the start/stop engine of course. I do a lot of inner city driving, so this is great.

Driving it

5 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
Very smooth - it had done 116,000 miles when I bought it, but you can't tell. The Bluemotion version includes a gear selection display on the dashboard that tells you to change up/down for best fuel economy.

What's it like to park?
More difficult than my previous cars (Xsara Picasso, Focus) as the back extends further past the wheels and I live in a densely populated terraced house area, where parking spaces are at a premium.
