Vauxhall Astra Hatchback 1.7 CDTi 16V ecoFLEX SRi (130bhp) (99g/km) (06/12-) 5d (2013/63) - Owner Review

Boot space is enough for a large pushchair and all accessories you may need to carry around with a young baby. And still room for some shopping.

Everyone I know loves it, and enjoys the comfort.

Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, but possibly 2.0cdti instead.

What are you likely to buy next?
Another diesel, probably 2.0l and almost certainly another astra.

Driving it

5 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
Pulls well in all gears, even with a full load. Doesn't lose speed uphill unless its quite steep. Cruising at higher speeds will still get good economy.

What's it like to park?
Not too much of an issue apart from wide pillars if it's the tightest of spots.

5 out of 5

Nothing wrong yet.

What's most practical about your car?
Boot space is enough for a large pushchair and all accessories you may need to carry around with a young baby. And still room for some shopping.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bluetooth connectivity, ABS, traction control, and cruise control for those longer journeys.
