Buying experience

5 out of 5

Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?
Used

What price did you pay?
£3,500

When did you buy the car?
June 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?
I feel I paid a reasonable price considering full main dealer history and fresh service including Cambelt.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a car that could put a smile on me face while able to achieve good mpg, and I was sick of French cars. Didn't want to be a sheep and buy a golf or audio a3 also needed 5 doors.

What was the dealer like?
Friendly private dealer only deals in vag cars even put fresh mot (6 month left originally) @ vw main dealer in Southampton and brimmed the tank with fuel.

Driving it

5 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
I love it the mid range acceleration its unreal and you really do shock people. also worth noting is faster and more powerful than skoda claimed. Grip is amazing but good tyres are a must no real body roll with a bit of understeer when you push it, overtaking is completely effortless.

What's it like to park?
Easy just watch the rims there big and expensive.

Living with it

5 out of 5

Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing major.

What's most practical about your car?
Air cooled glove box and having 5 doors.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Lazy indicators, heated mirrors and the elusive leather seats and factory xenons.
