Skoda Fabia Hatchback 1.9 TDI Ambiente 5d (2005/05)

Skoda Fabia Hatchback 1.9 TDI Ambiente 5d (2005/05) - Owner Review

What's most practical? Well I wanted a car that was reliable and economical and it has lived up to my expectations. I easily get 55 to 60 mpg and it has a good size boot.

Well I like to think I'm reliable too.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Its comfort and reliability.

Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I'd certainly buy a Skoda Fabia again because of its reliability and economical factor. Did I say it's a diesel which makes it more economical and also it has low emissions which lowers the road tax. Overall a very economical car.

March 2009

Did you get a good deal and why?
I think I got a good deal at the time. It was just as the new reg plates were coming in and the car was £1,000 below the listed used price. I loved the car so the saving was a bonus.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Buying a Skoda was recommended to me by a friend. I then searched online for 3 months and came across this car.

The dealer was very helpful and even fitted a new cam belt as one was due.

Driving it

5 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
It's a great car to drive either on the motorway or for short journeys about town. It cruises easily at 70 on the motorway and the turbo makes it easy to overtake or to get away quick.

What's it like to park?
Easy to park and in tight spaces (depending on your parking skills of course)...

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I suppose my favourite option is the pull lever to raise the driver's seat.
