Skoda Fabia Estate 1.4 16V Comfort 5d (2002/02)

Skoda Fabia Estate 1.4 16V Comfort 5d (2002/02) - Owner Review

The best super-mini to drive bar none. My girlfriend has a Pug 206 which is awful by comparison.

Skoda Fabia Estate (01-07)

Value

4 out of 5

Good, but A/C was extra, plus no CD player standard at the time.

Costs

4 out of 5

None so far, but mats were not included.

Driving

5 out of 5

The best super-mini to drive bar none. My girlfriend has a Pug 206 which is awful by comparison.

Performance

4 out of 5

Nippy, but not quick like a Fiesta 1.4 16v.

Reliability

3 out of 5

A few problems. Rattles which took ages to get fixed and heater motor gets stuck on hot. Windscreen cracks easily on impact with stones.

I liked it but my cool friends went French... why?

Comfort

5 out of 5

Superb driving position and plenty of leg room in back.

Good, but no alarm.

Service

I think the Skoda service departments are crap. I had a few problems with rattles and electrics, and the dealerships were crap at sorting them out. 2nd Rate!

Gearbox
Lovely. The nicest I've ever used.

Other
Rattles from above the ceiling, heater jammed on hot, petrol cap broke.
