What does this car say about you?
That i love Rovers!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
At first friends teased me about it as it is a old mans car, and that it was constantly going to break down. However my car has proved them wrong!

Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, but the 1.8GTi VVC version, i like to go up not down!

What are you likely to buy next?
Nothing in mind, keeping my car for a while yet.

£2,000

March 2008

Was on sale for £2500, managed to lower it down to £2000, low mileage, 12 months MOT, FSH, Tax

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Saw a Rover, loved the style, so i bought one!

Private Sale. But Gentlemen was friendly and honest with past problems

Driving it

5 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
Takes corners well, pokey enough to keep up with traffic in main town/city area, on the main roads though it does need to be revved a bit.

What's it like to park?
Nice and easy, reversing is simple and so is driving straight in. In all honesty only a few times have i had to repark.

Living with it

4 out of 5

Have you had any problems with the car?
Two things: 1) Trigger Wire became loose, AA came out and sorted it within minutes, nice and simple. 2) Radiator Fan broke, again simple, just bought a spare and had it sorted within a few days.

What's most practical about your car?
Boot size is good, manage to get plenty of my sporting equipment in my car, or double if im giving a mate a lift.
