Rover 25 1.4 iS (103ps) 3d (2000/X) - Owner Review

Good driving position, easy gears and seats do job well. 400 miles non-stop and no backache is praiseworthy.

Value

3 out of 5

Depreciating a little fast now.

Costs

Free servicing helped a lot. Heavy wear on tyres a little costly.

Performance

4 out of 5

As nippy as I need and cruises nicely on motorways. Adequate power for me but dies a little on hills if revs drop.

Reliability

5 out of 5

Nothing yet, apart from wear and tear.

Very stylish little brother to the bigger Rovers.

Seat supports me very well and size is perfect for my needs.

Immobiliser fitted as and it works well as I have found when leaving key in with door open for a while.

Service

4 out of 5

Free servicing is a good price. Other things a bit pricey at main dealer like a blowing exhaust.

Problems

Bodywork
Chipping… seems to attract flying. No rust yet and paintwork is still shiny.

Engine
No probs apart from slight leak on inner drive shaft.

Other
