Peugeot 807 (02-10)

Value

1 out of 5

Initially appeared to be good package, however persistant recurring faults start questioning that 'value for money'.

Costs

1 out of 5

Fuel economy now where near reported figures. Lucky to get 36 on a 300 mile run at a steady 60 mph.

Driving

4 out of 5

Good seating for all occupants, great for long distances.

Performance

4 out of 5

Bags of torque, great when loaded up with family and accessories!

Reliability

1 out of 5

Multitude of persistant recurring faults - fault displays, auto lights come on in broad daylight, auto windscreen wipers don't work, mirrors don't fold out, anti pinch doors do pinch!, aircon resets itself, heated rear screen stays on automatically etc

Image

5 out of 5

Visually best in MPV class

Comfort

5 out of 5

Long distances eaten up with ease.

Security

1 out of 5

Problem with vehicle security means car prone to 'opening' itself.

Service

1 out of 5

In a word - Diabolical! Dealer does best it can, but when you have Peugeot behind them shrugging their shoulders with typical Gallic dismissiveness, what can they do?

Problems

Bodywork
Dull paint finish, rust spots, sliding door cables cutting into paint finish.

Engine
Cut out a couple of times.

Gearbox
A little clunky sometimes.
