Ford Focus Hatchback 1.6 TDCi Zetec ECOnetic 5d (2012/12) - Owner Review

Boot has a large flat load area, and handy storage straps on the sides. however the rear legroom and headroom is a bit of a squeeze for taller members of the family.

Practical yet boring. Bulk standard car.

Would you buy this car again and why?
Possibly but a more powerful engine and parking sensors.

What are you likely to buy next?
Something economical again (i travel a lot) but something with a bit more road presence, possibly an audi or vw.

Driving it

3 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
Handles really well, very comfy and good cruiser. However for the size of the car the engine feels underpowered. There are several hills on my way to work and the 1.6 "eco" engine struggles to get up there without dropping to a lower gear.

What's it like to park?
Visibility is good all round. however it is a lot bigger than the previous car.

Living with it

No fingers crossed nothing yet.

Boot has a large flat load area, and handy storage straps on the sides. however the rear legroom and headroom is a bit of a squeeze for taller members of the family.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
MP3 connectivity for the music. Very easy to use stereo system.
