Driving 2 out of 5 Not bad response, but gearbox was terrible. Felt very loose. Horrible, really. Performance 3 out of 5 Perhaps a bigger engine would have been better for the car. Once again, awful gearbox. Reliability 2 out of 5 Endless problems. Worst was when it decided to immobilise itself for no reason. Had to get auto electritian - £30 for 2mins work. Image 4 out of 5 Not a bad looking car, providing it has less rust than mine did. Comfort 4 out of 5 I am 6' 1" and fitted fine. Spacious car. Door peeled away like it was made of paper. If you want it secure, put it in a garage. Service 4 out of 5 Ford were helpful, but I was on first name terms with the parts department and heard the phrase "common fault" far too often. Problems Bodywork Rust around the petrol cap, on arches and door sills. Engine Flat spots, missing, oil leaks, coolent leaks, water mixing with petrol and burns oil like its going out of fashion. Fine if you like driving with a big cloud of white smoke behind you. Gearbox No problems, but it's horrible. Other Clutch overheating more often than is healthy. Ownership Did you buy the car new?
