Summary

3 out of 5

What does this car say about you?
No Ide.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Don't care as long a the wife's happy.

Would you buy this car again and why?
No unless the stupid seat height adjuster (pull the lever hurtle downwards and impossible to raise while sitting in the seat. Stupid winker switch. Ridiculous auto wipers which you have to switch on whenever you get in the car rear wiper that stops in the middle of the screen if you switch ignition off and doesn't park until you switch on ignition and wiper switch again. Heated steering wheel and rear seats but no folding mirrors. Best part of owning this car was the service department, especially Grant who always found the time to help.

What are you likely to buy next?
Volkswagen Golf Alltrack 184 DSG already bought. Lost a fortune on BMW and Shrewsbury main agent wouldn't even bid. Resolved every complaint I had with the BMW but sadly no auto hatch but I don't bang my head any more.

What's it like to drive?
I convinced myself this was it's saving grace but have since driven better. Roadholding was superb. Suspension very hard.

No real problems sensors all round needed reversing camera to improve.

Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?
More than you would expect from a car at this price. Bluetooth never worked properly but nothing was done until in it's 34th month the SOS button was pressed and found not to work new Comms pack was organised before I sold car.

What's most practical about your car?
Floors were flat to the bottom of the doors allowing easy entry seat were high but entry was hampered by the bolsters on the seat which were also a bit tight even when deflated.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Remote tailgate although this stopped closing properly and after repair would not open enough that I didn't bang my head (5'10").
