With my windows (or the top) down, it allows me to pretend to be Snoop-Dog (even when I have Lady Ga Ga blaring from my 8 speakers. "Is it worth it, let me work it I put my thing down, flip it and reverse it, etc".

I like to move it move it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think I'm a prat. It's not hard to agree, is it?

Would you buy this car again and why?
I don't think that's any of your business.

What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly the Daihatsu Matiz.

Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised

Did you buy this car new?
Used

What price did you pay?
£17,450

When did you buy the car?
March 2014

Did you get a good deal and why?
I felt like I did. It has an excellent warranty, I got a very good deal on the refurbishment of the alloy wheels and the car came with all the add-on's that I wanted. Plus they gave me a car while my wheels were polished...

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a coupe and Mrs. C wanted a convertible. This car ticked both boxes.

What was the dealer like?
The salesman was one in a million - a bleeding gent in fact. He didn't lie, snake or slime his way into my good books. He used old-fashioned honesty and sincerity.

Driving it

What's it like to drive?
Whether in auto or manual and/or sport mode, it's quick. She cruises too. The sound of the engine upon acceleration really gets me.

What's it like to park?
Piece of cake. A little diagram on my sat-nav tells me pronto to slow down mucho pronto before I hit the car behind me.

Living with it

5 out of 5

Have you had any problems with the car?
A small teething problem - a slight 'lumpy-ness in the engine' but they arranged for a local dealer to replace all six injectors and plugs, they tightened the valves and the car drives brilliantly.

What's most practical about your car?
With my windows (or the top) down, it allows me to pretend to be Snoop-Dog (even when I have Lady Ga Ga blaring from my 8 speakers. "Is it worth it, let me work it I put my thing down, flip it and reverse it, etc".

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I-Drive, without a shadow.
