BMW 3-Series Convertible (86-93)

The Motorsport Convertible version holds its value a bit. Always search for the genuine motorsport convertibles.

Certain parts are expensive, but to get the best out of your vehicle you should be willing to spend that little extra. You get just rewards.

The automatic has the same response as the manual 'cause of its sport/econ mode. Experience the kick down and you'll know what im talking about.

I bought my convertible as it had low mileage, but it wasn't really cared for, even though it had service history. After I spent a good amount of money which was worth it, it hasn't let me down.

The motorsport version comes with factory fitted M-tec kit, so this is the only to go for. Put a nice set of alloy wheels on and you'll be turning heads.

Could've done with adjustable steering column. Leather interior, which is nice.

Always fit an aftermarket alarm with lots of sensors as it is a convertible, because there's a lot of jealous #@^^*# out there.

BMW in Kentish Town were friendly and efficient in their service, but I don't how other BMW dealers treat their customers.

Stone chips on front bumper. The M-tec kit isn't too expensive.

No problems with my engine. A regular oil change keeps everything in check.

I did have to recondition my auto box, which cost £800. Gear change is now smooth and effortless.

Gearbox was main problem.
