The Mitsubishi Evo has built up a cult following as a rally-bred performance car capable of astonishing acceleration and superb handling. The tenth incarnation, or X as Mitsubishi badges it, builds on this reputation but adds some much needed refinement and comfort.

Equipment

There are two trim levels - GS and GSR. All models get 18-inch alloy wheels, climate control, xenon headlights with adaptive lighting, a CD stereo, Bluetooth connectivity, leather steering wheel with audio controls, a multi-information display, privacy glass, front fog lights, rain sensitive wipers and automatic headlights. GSR models add sat nav, a hard drive-based music server, an MP3 auxiliary input and an advanced trip computer.

The FQ-400 gets Bluetooth, a CD-tuner with a 30 GB hard drive, DVD satellite navigation and privacy glass.
