In the continuing war of the Japanese rally-styled road cars the Evo beats Subaru's Impreza in looks and individuality. Performance-wise they're evenly matched but most people seem to fall into one camp or the other (if they can live with the leery looks at all).

In the continuing war of the Japanese rally-styled road cars the Evo beats Subaru's Impreza in looks and individuality. Performance-wise they're evenly matched but most people seem to fall into one camp or the other (if they can live with the leery looks at all). The Mitsubishi offers a more hardcore set up that most resembles a car set up for racing rather than driving on the road - it takes self control not to have your licence taken away from you within a matter of hours.

Later MR versions featured a number of significant revisions that further enhanced the performance and handling.
