The Honda Jazz has been around since 2002 during which time it has shifted more than 300,000 of them in the UK and won 70 European awards. It is quite a big deal, and one of Honda’s most important cars.

Although it hasn’t been tested yet, Honda Jazz safety should be high when you consider the old model got the full five star Euro NCAP rating, and the manufacturer is expecting a similar result with the new car.

All cars come with city brake active which helps avoid or mitigate low speed accidents, and a stronger body structure that should stand up well in a crash.

Middle and top grade cars benefit from a suite of safety systems including forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, and lane departure warning.

Intelligent speed assist can spot traffic signs and update the maximum speed permitted by the speed limiter, helping to avoid fines.

The previous generation model was named the most reliable car in the UK for eight years in a row so there should be no worries at all with Honda Jazz reliability with the new model.
