Chrysler scored a big hit with the 300C executive saloon and the Sebring is an attempt to recreate that success in the family saloon market. Unfortunately it falls short in nearly every department.

The Sebring is fitted with ESP, an electronic stability programme which is linked with traction control and brake assist. Also standard across the range are multi-stage front airbags, side-curtain airbags and front-seat-mounted side airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and a Thatcham category 1 alarm.

Reliability

Since it shares many of its components with other Chrysler Group products and has a trusty VW diesel engine under its bonnet, the Sebring is expected to offer decent reliability.
