Used BMW 3-Series Coupe (2006 - 2013) Safety & Reliability

As four-seat coupes go, few cars are as good looking or as enjoyable to drive as the BMW 3-Series Coupe - it's a classic design with a sleek yet understated air while inside it's beautifully finished with top grade materials. Only minor elements such as the door handles are carried over from the 3-Series saloon - the rest is bespoke to the Coupe.

The 3-Series Coupé comes with six airbags (front, side and curtain airbags) as standard along with electronic stability control and run-flat tyres. The brakes also resist fading (a reduction in performance caused by repeated heavy use) and the car comes with a brake wear display, which indicates the number of miles remaining before the brake pads need replacing.

The rear lights are made up of LEDs, which include a 'brake force display' function which increase the brightness in emergency braking to warn following drivers.

BMW reliability is typically better than average, and although there are many new components in the 3-Series Coupe, no problems have been reported
